Located in the heart of South Kensington, Cranley Gardens Hotel is a Grade II listed building converted from four Victorian townhouses with white columned entrance, high ceilings, carved cornices and French windows leading onto front balconies. It is a family owned and operated hotel and prides itself in providing comfort without extravagance.
The hotel has 85 rooms split on 5 floors and offers a selection of Singles, Doubles, Twins and Triples. Some of the rooms are interconnected and thus are a great option for larger families. Rooms on ground and first floors benefit from high ceilings – a characteristic of Victorian buildings. Rooms at the front of the hotel also benefit from views overlooking private gardens. However rooms at the back, overlooking typical London mews, are usually quieter. The rooms are decorated in a simple and traditional way, based on pastel colours and bamboo-effect furniture. All rooms have full facilities including en-suite bathrooms with bath/shower, toilet, hairdryers, Satellite TV and direct dial telephone/voice mail.
The restaurant is opened for breakfast from 7.30am to 9.30am during the week and from 8.00am to 10.00am on Sundays. The Bar is open everyday from 8.00am to 12.00pm, offering a large selection of soft and alcoholic drinks as well as delicious cocktails. A selection of snacks and Homemade Sandwiches is also available throughout the day.
